Rasta Imposta began when Robert Berman, an aspiring playwright with an entrepreneurial spirit, moved to the Jersey Shore for the summer. In 1992, he made wool dreadlocks, glued them into a baseball cap, and sold it off his head for 20 dollars and a beer. That's how Rasta Imposta started!
